Day 1 (19th April 2019)

We will meet at the Rotunda, Hilton at 5:30am to leave by 6:00am. Please do not be late.

We travel via Underberg to Matatiele where we fill up with fuel. We then head out to Ongeluksnek Pass. We clear the SA border posts (there is no border post on the Lesotho Side) and proceed to Lake Letsie (One of the most beautiful lakes in Southern Africa. You may think you're in the Scottish Highlands!). We will be Wild Camping on the banks of the Quthing River tonight.

Day 2 (20th April 2019)

Today, our destination is Bob Phillips Camp at the bottom of Matabeng Pass. We will travel to Mount Moorosi for fuel and then on tar to the Horseshoe Bend. We will travel on more tar towards Quacha's Nek. Aproximately 15kms before Quacha's Nek we turn off for some gravel road driving heading towards Bob Phillips Camp. Time permitting we will explore some side roads down to the Senqu river. Tonight will be more Wild Camping, so be prepared. R50 per person

Day 3 (21st April 2019)

Today is a leisurely drive up and over Matabeng Pass towards Sehlabathebe National Park. We will camp in the park at the new lodge. Costs TBA. Best bring some cash.

Day 4 (22nd April 2019)

Sadly today is the start of the homeward bound journey, but it's not over yet!. We leave the Sehlabathebe National Park and drive towards Ramatseliso. Before getting to Ramatseliso we turn off to explore a new route. We circle round and exit Lesotho via Ramatseliso Gate. Travel through Underberg home.
