A Day Trip to the Scenic Mike's Pass in the Drakensberg

Cost R100/person for a permit payable at Didima Reserve.

This is a high altitude, 4x4 gravel road. While not a difficult pass it has an average gradient of 1 in 17, with some sections being 1 in 16.

You can expect incredible views & mountain fresh air!

The pass is named after Mike de Villiers and it was built in the interests of ecological research.
